Mental Health/Addictions
The Mental Health/Addictions Counsellor provides assessment, referrals, support, and crisis stabilization as well as prevention information to patients and families of the Family Health Team.
Addiction specific counselling focuses on relapse prevention, the nature of addiction, life skills training and teaching positive decision making skills. Both individual counselling as well as family counselling is provided.

Our Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses who have had more university training to increase their skills in treating,diagnosing, counselling, and educating patients.
