CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) & Mindfulness

Facilitated by SETFHT Social Workers, this 6-week group aims to support you in:

  • A better understanding of your experience of anxiety
  • Learn about the biology of anxiety and stress
  • Learn about CBT and Mindfulness as frameworks to manage anxiety
  • Practicing mindfulness exercises and meditation
  • Apply CBT strategies and practice relaxation techniques to better manage rumination
  • Developing skills to cope with anxiety
  • Increasing your awareness of the connection between thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and physical reactions
